furthering the research of earlier posts with fresh eyes the following was found:

Harry Swains parents were  James Swain and Emma Richardson who married in 3rd quarter of 1872 (Warwick 6d793),
according to the census of 1891 (Piece:2471 Folio: 142 Page Number: 23) they were living in Leamington Warwickshire and Harries siblings were
James born in the 4th quarter Dec 1884 (6d599) and Mary Jane Swain born in the 4th quarter of 1887 ( Warwick 6d566)
James (snr) was born in 1846 in the 3rd quarter (Warwick 16 543).
The family appears as well in 1911 but cannot be put here.
It should also be noted of Harry Swain that his baptism was in the Parish of Leamington Priors All Saints on the 1st of June 1879.

furthering this again>

this is the link for james and emmas marriage   which reveals James father being John Swain   and  Emmas father being Henry Richardson
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/NLXC-HW6

family search also reveals the following >

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/J98W-YM2

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/JQNW-VWR

and of the latter we learn  that there was another child being Rebecca Swain  who was born in the Jun quarter of 1875 (Warwick 6d578)
who some reason does not appear on the 1891 census

So now to get a generation back James father as we know from his marriage was John,  but who was his mother? !
John Swain was a good 18 to 20 years older than James mother Rebecca Johnson to whom he married in 1845 on the 5th October at Leamington Priors
(equating to cert ref Warwick 16 816 4th quarter Dec 1845)The family appears in the 1851(Piece:2072Folio:351Page Number:13) and 1861 census (Piece:2222 Folio:16Page Number:26)
thus revealing that James has siblings Henry (Births Jun 1850   Warwick 16 620) and John Swain.

So having looked at this carefully  I noted one key element>
on freebmduk    enter Swain  , tick All types,  select Warwick  and the certificate references for all the missing pieces such as deaths and marriages etc of sibs will come up for you...

best of luck to you on your quest
