Baptism lookup request - Appleton St. Laurence 1889

I'd be very grateful if anyone could look to see if there is a baptism at Appleton for Eveline Seaton. She was born around February 1889, is recorded as a boarder with Walter and Julia Steptoe in 1891 and I believe was later adopted by them, she is recorded as Eveline Steptoe in the 1901 census.

Hoping to find out who her parents were.

Unfortunately, Appleton PRs have only been transcribed up to 1839 so far.  The only way I've found to see records after 1839 is to view them on microfilm at an LDS centre, which I did in 2012.

The good news is that, entirely by chance, the pages I copied include the one you want .
The bad news is that an old 'thin' film was used and the image is very poor, but here's my interpretation (bits in brackets are unclear or in tiny writing):

(10) February 1889 (Privately)  Evelyn (base born daughter) of Alice SEATON of Oxford (Dressmaker).

There is something else written around the date, but it's impossible to read.

Now I know that she was baptised at Appleton I'll see if I can get over to the Berkshire CRO sometime, to look at the actual register.
