Thanks Aghadowey for your clarification
I guess we can assume they were not Catholic. Francis and William have C of I church records but my line in Australia from William Waugh were Presbyterians according to family geneology notes with early names located in Church records in Armagh.

You need to be a bit cautious sbout religion- it's not uncommon for settlers in a new country to start attending another denominations, perhaps for the simple reason that their own religion doesn't have a church in the area (especially in more rural areas).
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
