Robert Vardy born 1795 Whalton, Northumberland

I am looking at this family for a friend.
Can anybody find Robert's birth or christening?
I thought I had found it yesterday but I was on my netbook and did not print it
Would apprciate some help!

hi do you have them in the census if not here is the 1841 for whalton

robert vardy age 46 surgeon
ann age 45
elizabeth age 17
robert age 16
ann age 14
john age 11
margaret age 9
james age 6
jane age 2

the only christening i can see for a robert vardy is 1824  which is  roberts son shown in the 1841 census.

What makes you think he was born in Whalton?

If I have the right person - Robert Vardy, Surgeon, living in Whalton - the 1841 census shows him born 'out of county' and the 1851 census shows him born in 'City of Durham'.

Durham Records Online is showing a matching baptism in Durham in 1795.
