She did - dying 7/1/1849 & I think her daughter Mary Ann Brunsdon (nee Smith, baptism 17/8/1810) was present.

Ricard Smith's baptism was 19/4/1807.

William Smith's baptism does not appear. He started using the surname Stiles (sometimes Styles) I think in the 1830s. If only my late father had asked his grandfather about the family, when he was still alive in the 1930s...!

Hmm. Had a look and nothing springs out. Its a good theory though and will bear it in mind in future. Thanks.
