Glad to see we are getting near to a solution. I think once you have changed the settings you would have to reply to a message then you would see the little green arrow attached to the speech bubble. I will send those involved a test message that you can reply to.

Sorry to sound a sour note, but I am not a single millimetre closer to a solution. I've 'changed settings' umpteen times, and have yet to see this little green arrow.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Arrgh - it worked for me - all I did was click and I got my own messages being thrown back at me!  Luckily, I was able to click again and get back to normal.

Thanks Tom and Pels for the messages!

Forfarian - do you have the left hand details as in Bob's message? -if  not click on the right hand arrow at the top of the messages. That might be the problem.

Oh WOW thank you Bob. This is brilliant and something I'd wished was possible for a long time.
I have my emails set like this so always thought PM's would be better like it.

Thanks for raising the subject Ian  :-*
