Thank you Marg, Carol, JJ and Lostris for your help with this.  My Nan and all her siblings have now passed away so I dont think i shall be able to find any more out from the family.  Can anyone see his children on 1911 especially James would only be 13 and Elizabeth 15?? Are they with their father?

Yes, both there - and the family all with their Grandma.

I see from his first marriage that there is no middle name.  There are 2 marriages in Romford district with husband William, one spouse surname is Bones the other Andrews.

There are 6 children showing to the Bones marriage on freebmd, you can look at them by selecting births after 1911 Romford reg district Surname Sutton, mothers maiden name Bones.  They may ring a bell.
