Divorce Record look up

Hi, i need some help to find my Divorce record, ive been looking on Ancestry and cant find any divorce records at all, any help greatly appreciated.

I got divorced in 2001, will the record be available?

Aitken, Willis, Cordell, Ager, Plant, Scales,

Records that recent aren't online.

If you need a copy of your decree absolute, you can apply to the court where the proceedings took place. They can provide a copy for £5 if you give them the case number and date.

If you don't remember, you can apply to HMCTS and they will search for you. It costs £60

Have you got your legal paperwork?

If not you'll have to pay the £60 and get HMCTS to search. The application form is part of the link I posted earlier.

If you remember the court, try them 1st, that may only cost you £5 if they can help.
