please help, have posted on dorset board aswell. looking for George Newbury and son Samuel.  Sam born in 1848/9 George in 1801-09 . samuel moved to hull and married in 1870 and was a fisherman.  George ended his days in Axminster workhouse in 1881 he was 80'ish, please help trace mother and siblings and correct place of birth. been frantically looking and have hit a brick wall. any suggestions?

please help me trace my ancestor Samuel Newbury, born 1848/9 not sure if it was brixham or charmouth in dorset. His father was George resident of Axminster workhouse in 1881

its jannene, we think this might be our sam but there has been conflicting info from other members of the family, some say brixham, others are now saying yarmouth in isle of wight.  its all so confusing, dont really know which is which, you dont have any other clues or ideas how we could find out.  thankyou for your lookups, do you have in interest in the newburys?

Hi Jannene, I`ve done another search on the 1861 census but can`t find a Samuel Newberry born in either Brixham or Yarmouth that match his year of birth.
