So I just the answer to my question is married to Ada Louisa Sailes.

Alfred is glass packer on the 1901 census, does this tie in with the information you have on the 1911 census

To add to the confusion.

I have a birth date for Alfred Henry Clements of 15 July 1882, Sunbury, Middlesex.

I have just found a School Ledger Entry (in Ancestry) for Alfred Harvey Clements (DOB 15/07/1882).

1907 / Q4 / GREENWICH / 1D / 1794

to find out for certain.

On one tree Alfred is married to Emily Hill with children and all the siblings previously mentioned, the other tree is a Sailes family tree, no children shown.

How does Alfred actually fit into your family tree? what relation is he to you. I think we may have to start again with finding him in the census.

That school ledger entry has an address ( 1892) of 22 Kingsgate Road.

I have look at the tree with Emily Hill as Alfred's wife, they do have a marriage record saved to her, but is the one we found earlier for Ada, so there is nothing to back up this marriage, there is also a child referred to between Emily and Alfred marked private

It looks like Alfred Harvey Clements was in the Army 1904-1908
Reg East Surrey 31st and 70th foot, next of kin Mother Mary 216 Coldharbour Lane Brixton Surrey

The tree doesn't add up, the child marked private was born in 1920, Mary J Clements, who married Frank Steer, and Prudence J Jarritt mmn Hill born 1924 isn't a Clements 

All a bit iffy.

I think we need to go to the censuses before 1901 when Bob has given us more info about Alfred and the family.
