Harlow in Breadsall
« on: Monday 21 January 13 21:39 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

My 4x GGrandfather was George Harlow, and waqs baptised in 1792 in Breadsall. His parents were William and Amy. Unfortunately, I cant find any more info about William and Amy on the IGI. There is a rumour that Amy had connections to royalty. Some sort of direct bloodline, but everything seems to have turned up a blank.

All George's siblings were born in Breadsall, but cant find anything about the parents whatsoever.

Can anyone enlighten me and make me disprove this rumour as I dont believe it myself. Why would someone of royal blood marry poor people like that?

Many thanks,
David.
