Anyone come across the place name of Neffa in Carmarthenshire?

I have this name on a census record and it is clear that this is the name but does not come up on any map. Its where my 2nd great grandmother was born. Help anyone...?

The information is found on the 1861 Census Ref RG9 /4051 on Elizabeth Morgan schedule No 13 along with her husband Thomas Morgan.

It sure does look like Neffa! ;D

Full reference is Class RG09, Piece 4051, Folio 78, Page 3
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

This has baffled me for years. I wish I could get to the bottom of it. I have tried different variations of the name and keep coming up with nothing.

In the 1891 (and another) Census she gives her birth place as Llangadock (Llangadog), Carmarthenshire,

I wonder if " Neffa " was the name of the Property where Elizabeth was born.

One of my Pembrokeshire chaps moved to Glamorganshire.On one Census he gave the name of the Farm  where he was born,as place of birth!!!!!!!!!!

Just an idea.

Genuki is good for finding Welsh Parishes but could`nt find Neffa
