Burial lookup St Mary's Watford

  If anyone has access to the Parish records for St Mary's Church in Watford...I am looking for the Death/Burial of Susanna Maria Furnieaux DOWSON 1857 aged 27 yrs

    Thanks for this...I did have the civil registration for Susanna..I was hoping to get more information from her burial record.
Did the churches still keep records of burials after civil registration began?

Sorry, you asked for death/burial, so I just listed what I hoped would be the death (& marriage) to ensure we were all singing from the same hymn sheet.
Also to save others looking up the same death info.

I was at StMarys today but no one available.

Thank you so much for efforts Ray.
As Susanna is merely the sister of my ancestor Francis Causton ALDRICH & so not my direct line, I was hoping I might be able to gain some info from a burial record i.e date of death, date of burial, place of burial & if I was really lucky cause of death, to avoid the expense of a Certificate.
Unfortunately I can't stop at my direct line I like to know about them all
