Hi,
The first name is spelt differently, but according to FIND MY PAST, a Lawrence H Harding died at Manchester, Lancashire, last quarter of 1957.     He was aged 50, and the GRO number is 10E 533.
Might be him.
P.S.    Ancestry also has this death on their records.     A hint from them gives a possible marriage to an Elizabeth Stephenson in England, before WW2.
