Ebenezer Congregational or Independant, Dinas Mawddwy, MER.
« on: Thursday 24 January 13 16:33 GMT (UK) »
Please can anyone tell me the address of this in 1800 and if it still exists.

Also are there any other records of BMDs apart from whats on IGI and the Hugh Wallis index or in the Llanaber PRs. The period I need is from about 1830 back to about 1750

Any suggestions very welcome. Thanks Humphpaul

bmdregisters, which is a commercial site, has the registers from 1789-1837 for Ebenezer Chapel.

They are in RG4 4033

Hope this helps

The chapel still exists.

On Google maps, search on Dyfi Terrace, Dinas-Mawddwy

On http://www.old-maps.co.uk enter the same and look at the 1:2500 maps.

The chapel is just to the north of the terrace and looks to have been converted into a house.

The date on the chapel is 1867.
