Hi All,
I have un-sourced details of a Richard Colley or Cole marrying an Elizabeth Rose 14 May 1792 in Budbrooke Warkwickshire.  Is there anyone who is in a position to confirm the above please.
In addition Elizabeth Rose's birth is given as 1768 Wellington Shropshire.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

FamilySearch has the marriage (with Richard's surname given as COLE) - source is "Warwickshire Parish Records 1538-1900".

Did look at Familysearch batch nos. & Budbrooke did not seem to show marriage.

Richard Cole of the parish of Bishop's Stokington and Elizabeth Rose of this parish married by licence on 14 May 1792.  Both signed.  Witnesses:  Edward Johnson and Sarah Rose - again both signed.  John Warden, Curate.
 
 
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Many thanks for your information appologies for late reply ( Hols ).
No sign of Bishop's Stokington anywhere ?  Have you any suggestions please as Richard Colley gives his birth place as Stoke on Tern or Trent on 1851. ( I favour Tern as he stipulates Shropshire )

Looks more like Bishops Itchington to me, the I is a bit "flowery".

No worries, it's not very clear but as I grow up in Leamington, I have some added local knowledge. ;D

To Robsdad, are you sure this is the correct marriage because your Richard Colley is in Kingswinford with a son born in Wellington, Shropshire about 1795, but it seems that the couple who married in Budbrooke were in Bishops Itchington having children between 1793 and 1805 and their son John Cole wasn't born until 1800. ???
