1818 - John Hope born 30th December, christened Westbury on Severn, Forest of Dean. I found some baptisms for children of James and Esther hope in Westbury(early 1800's), but if I remember rightly Johns father when he married is said to John also?

1852 - John Hope born, birth reg March qtr Monmouth
1855 - Eliza Hope born, birth reg Oct qtr Monmouth, G-Grandmother
1860 - William Hope born, birth reg Sept qtr Monmouth.
There is a woman Joan? In Canada, British Columbia, who is descended from this family, but I have lost contact with her.

James Hope christened 21st April 1846 son of William and Sarah
1877 - 4th September, Eliza Hope married Richard Paul, reg Monmouth
Eliza Hope married Richard Paul born1851 Staunton Glos, a woodcutter, and in the 1881 census they have a daughter Sarah Ann Paul born 1879 Dixton, but Richard died in 1883, and Eliza Paul then married Samuel Beach (her cousin)my Great Grandfather. cheers Fred
