My uncle died in 1946 at Bagthorpe - he is buried in Northern Cemetery [Bulwell]. I haven't got his death certificate - but assume that he died of something contagious because of where he was. I think my grandfather chose where he was buried - rather than my uncle being dealt with in a different way. I only know where he was buried because my grandfather kept the receipt for the burial and plot.

This probably doesn't help you at all though - because if they are 'allowed' to be buried anywhere then this doesn't give you any clues. Sorry!

Areas: Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire.

Main Names: Wood, Taylor, Beckworth, Whysall, Hull [and many others when I go off on a tangent!! lol]
