William Woodham baptised Milton Ernest on 14 July 1799 aged 18 weeks, son of Philip & Elizabeth Woodham. He features in my family tree due to a Woodhams/Partridge marriage much later on. I did make a note suggesting he might be the W.W. found in Stow on 1841 & later censuses.

Anc* has Christening records at Stow for children of William & Elizabeth Woodham that appear on the 1841 census starting wirth Richard on 9 Nov 1828 through to Louisa on 11 Oct 1840, there is also the christening of Christopher (daughter's child age 6 mnths) on 24 Dec 1840 with mother being Mary Ann. The 3 older children Mary Ann, Maria & William are not amongst these so were they christened elsewhere ? However in 1851 Mary Ann now wife of George Coxford & Maria now wife of William Mumford state they were born in Stow. There are also christenings of 2 daughters Ruth in 1833 & 1836, but they each were subsequently buried at Stow. Plus a later christening of Eliza on 10 Mar 1844 who appears on 1851 census.

I would be interested in checking the Ravensden marriage in 1820

So:
- living in Stow Hunts in censuses was William Woodham born Milton, Beds, somewhere between 1796 and 1800 depending on which age you believe
- this William had a daughter whose mother's maiden name was Summerland
- William Woodham married Elizabeth Sumerling in Ravensden. Whilst it would have been nice if the marriage said William of the parish of Milton Ernest, given the mother's maiden name and the census birthplace, I don't think it's vital.

I'm convinced!

I'm also convinced that I need to turn the central heating on!
