Hi Chilton

I've had a look at other censuses and it looks quite likely, given the size of the school, that it didn't have a name as such. Often these small places were just known as 'Mr Edwards School'. In 1871, Samuel Edwards was in the census as a teacher of mathematics at a different address. In 1881 and 1891, when he is living at 33 Grosvenor, there is no other identity given, even in the enumerator's description of the district.

Sorry - that's the best I can do  :(

However, if you want any details for Samuel from the 1871 or 1891 census in Bath, or even the 1861 when he was living in Hampshire, I'll happily post them  :)

Best wishes

Angela
