« on: Thursday 31 January 13 00:00 GMT (UK) »
If anyone can shed anymore light it would be appreciated!!!!

I am looking for more information on the vecchi family originating from Italy but travelling around europe settling in england and the united states. I know there was the mother and father Enrico and Emily and also five children, Umberto, Lamberto, Emily, Roma and Margarette.

I am trying to find any photos or newspaper clipping's - possibly even living relatives.

any information would be great :)

From what I can tell from census records, WWI records, and the English death index, it looks like Umberto stayed in the UK.

I found an obituary for Clyde Noble, and no children were mentioned.  It says that he & Emily stopped performing in 1918.  I don't see any children with them on census records.

On ellisisland.org, there is a 1908 passenger list for Emily Vecchi.  It says her father was in England, and she was going to join her friend Clyde.  It says she had been in New York from 1901-1905.

In the 1910 Census Roma & Margaret Vacchi/Vecchi were in Bloomington, Illinois and roomers with the Nobel and LaBelle families.  Roma & Margaret's occupation was actress in the theater industry.  There is a Feb. 1910 passenger list for Roma and Margherita Vecchi & they were going to join sister Mrs. Noble in Bloomington.

I think Lamberto is a mistranscription of Umberto.

There are possible matches in the England marriage index for Roma F. A. Vecchi (1923 - spouse is Occomore) and Margherita A. Vecchi (1913 - spouse was Hughes).  Roma Flora A Occomore is on the England death index in Surrey in 1976.
