the nearest match I can find puts her a little younger than that

1861 New Town, St Blazey RG9/1546 folio 82 pg 19
James Thomas head mar 40 copper miner b. St Austell
Sarah wife 41 b. Redruth
Elizabeth J dau 14 b. St Blazey

so this could be the marriage of her parents

and this the baptism for Elizabeth Jane
http://www.cornwall-opc-database.org/search-database/more-info/?t=baptisms&id=2551292

but I'll wait for confirmation of her parents names from the death cert before going further with this family.

Elizabeth's death was registered in South Australia so there won't be parents named on her death cert.

Nozza, do you have the marriage cert?

Marriages Sep 1865
THOMAS Elizabeth Jane
WILLIAMS James Henry
St Austell 5c/213

This will name both fathers and give their occupations.

sorry,  I should have read the info from the death reg for James Henry. The marriage cert is the only way to go as it doesn't seem to been a parish marriage, more likely a registrar attended and not on line.
