Hi Mary had a look @ church registers today in Midleton. No marriage for Hanora to James scanlon.

There is a baptism recorded for a Hanora Glavin 27th Jan 1845 with parents Maurice Glavin & Abby Flanagan.

I had seen the 1901 census that you mention and it is strange that the same family is recorded at two different addresses.    Regards Frances

So far I have found from the site that they had 3 children - Michael John (b.1866), Catherine (b.1868) and John William (b.1871). Hi David can you be more specific with christian names and i can then check Church registars.
I did know of a family in midleton with surname but spelt DERHAM. Regards frances

David, Frances here again - had a look at 1911 census and you are correct with the spelling of surname DURHAM - in latter years it became Derham for some reason.
