1864 Marriage
« on: Tuesday 05 February 13 20:43 GMT (UK) »
Hi:
Can anyone decipher the mother of the bride on this document.

The name is in the 4th column from the left.  The wedding was in Ontario, Canada, but the name might be French as the bride was born in Montreal Quebec.

Thanks
Abraham, Busby, Down, Doidge, Kinsman, Rowe, Grimley, Kennard, Piper, Bailey, Crew, McKnight, Faulkner, Lay, Newton, Meehan, Legg, Howson, Fitzgerald,Walters, O'Neill, Ring, Pendergast/Prendergast

Thanks, those were the names I came up with.  I was leaning more to Joanna, because the first letter looks like the "J" used in John.

Before reading any of the other replies I thought the name was Joanna Bowry.  :)

Would there be other documents to confirm her name, for example, the daughter's birth certificate and/or perhaps death certificate?  :-\

Is the name Joanna passed down the family?

Thanks for the suggestions.  Unfortunately, I can't find either a Louisa or Joanna in the descendants names.
