Even for 'us city folk' it now takes me an hour's travelling to my nearest AEC office.
When I queried the staff at Cleveland as to why they were packing up and shipping out I got a reply along the lines of "Wayne's (Wayne Swan - Federal Treasurer Australia for those unfamiliar with the name) got to meet his budget forecasts!"   ::)   ::)   ::)
