Manchester Parish Records
« on: Thursday 07 February 13 00:47 GMT (UK) »
Looking for info on the children of John Brown Morton and his wife Mary Jane. They had four known children, Edgar, Thomas, Doris and John. All were born early 1900's. Do parish records exist for their baptisms in Manchester.

Thanks Laurina

Thanks for that Heather.

John married several times.  I've seen that record for John Brown but am not sure if it's the correct John. Mary Jane certainly dies/disappears at some point but I've been unable to find a death record for her.

Thanks for the baptism - I've been told that there is a record on a well known site that I don't have access to. It gives the baptisms for all the above children. I'm hoping someone can find this info. It would tell me when Mary Jane was still living.

I've tried general searches for Doris and Thomas Morton but can't confirm these without more info.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks - Doris and Thomas are of interest as these two do not appear in the 1911 census. I'm wondering if they died young or are living elsewhere. That's why I'm keen to discover their birth dates.

Their is another son - George in 1911 census.
