We belive that they were from Louth County, Ardee, and came to the US in the 1850's, eventually settlling in Buffalo, NY. They had 3 daughters - Kathryn, Anna and Frances.
Thanks for any info you can come up with.

Hi Maureen
Just noticed your message. I am afraid that I dont know anything about  John & Bridget Durnin, but I am researching the Durnin family and have got as far back as William Durnin born about 1809 in Ireland, could he possibly be any relation to your Durnins. He moved to England Liverpool and married Mathilda Hanson in 1832 and they had a few children including a son called John. I know that this isnt your John but I wonder if by any remote chance that it is the same family?
If not, well good luck with your search.
Cecile
