Alice Callear (b. 1866) married Jun 1885 (Wolstanton STAFFS) BUT TO WHOM?

I believe it may have been Mark Dawson but there are two other options: Mark Risley and George Stanworth.

How do I narrow this down?

Have you checked the 1891 Census yet?  I can see an Alice DAWSON born about 1866 in Staffordshire, living in Walstanton with husband Mark.

The two recommended websites are proving really useful BUT just when I thought I had it easy - along came:

Elizabeth Callear b. 1869
She lives with her parents in the 1891 census but does not appear in the 1901 or 1911.
I can not find a record of a death.
I suspect she married post 1894 and freeBMD shows an Elizabeth Callear marrying in 1894 - but it does not offer any clues to the husband? How do I work this out?

Is there another website for this type of thing?
