I am trying to find records for family that lived at the above referenced and came at various times to America. One of the ancestors "hid" to escape authorities-he was involved in a plot against Catholic rule in Ireland-but his wife hid him in the boat so possibly under her maiden name and there was the Rev War in America-some of the younger family members-I do not think came at the same time-went into the Army shortly after what I think was the year of their arrival-could this be a bounty for men going in the army? fruitytooty
