Looking at the other ages and the number 6 written on that particular census sheet, it looks like a 6 to me like a 6 to me  ???  Joseph Chipchase  Birth redg Q2 -  Apr-May-Jun 1895 Guisborough  Yorkshire North Riding
Volume 9d  Page 523 

Robert Chipchase of Mount Pleasant Guisborough Yorkshire died 9th April 1917. Probate York 15 June 1917 to William Delaney Secretary of Stores and William Smith Deputy of Mines.

If you have access to the 1911 census for Robert Chipchase it will hopefully record how many children were born to that marriage and how many survived.
