1641 Poll Tax
« on: Wednesday 20 February 13 12:29 GMT (UK) »
A possible ancestor of mine Richard Luffman is shown as having paid 20/- poll tax at Yarlington. All records I have found about him suggest he lived in Maperton, if this is correct why would he pay tax at Yarlington? It doesn't seem to have been any type of  sub regional centre.
