1871 details @ Brithdir Terrace, Brithdir Hamlet, Gelligaer parish
Lewis Jones, HD, 30, coal miner, Mynyddislwyn, Monmouthshire
Rachel Jones, Wife, 24, Bedwellty, Mon
David Jones, boarder, 25, stone mason, Mynyddislwyn, Monmouthshire

Hi Roy, in 1861he is a Boarder aged 20 occ Coal Miner b Mynyddislwyn with a John and Mary Rees residing at Ynishire, Ystradygfodwg, Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorganshire

Thanks for the details, which are a great help; as you have been replying to several of the quiries I have posted regarding Brithdir inhabitants in 1861, I think a brief explanation is in order.  This was a time of Brithdir in its infancy and as an exercise I am trying to study the migration pattern of the earlier residents.
