Lookup for Taylor before 1871

I have a copy of the 1871 Census for Llandebie in Carmarthenshire which states my grandfather, Charles Taylor, as being born in Marden, Herefordshire and his wife Elizabeth (nee Mills) as being born in Mainston, Montgomeryshire.  Charles was born c.1827 and Elizabeth 1837.  I am not able to trace either further back so I would be grateful if anyone can give me any info.  They married in Leominster in 1858 and Elizabeth's parents could have been James and Mary Mills.  I would love to find out who Charles parents were if possible.

This looks like him in 1861, living with his brother, but I'm a little puzzled as you say he was married in 1858 and this states un-married??

This looks like it could be him as I also have him listed as an agri. labourer.  It's possible that I've got the marriage dates wrong as his first child wasn't born until 1864.

Hi Jean ,
I am interested in the Taylor line especially if it connects to Blackmore & Evans lines. A George Montague Taylor married an Elizabeth Blackmore 1847 Clerkenwell, London. If George Montague  {1814- ?}is the son of a John Richard  & Eleanor Taylor then he has a sister Elizabeth {1828 - 1905  in New Zealand} who married Charles Fisher Evans .
Any information on this line &  confirming the relationship would be a huge help to me & if there is a link I can give you more information on the daughters of George & Elizabeth & the children of Elizabeth & Charles.

hope this helps....so John would be born Marsden 1829/30 ...maybe his baptism is there to give you their parents ?

 Elizabeth Mills christening - 7th Jan 1838 Llanidloes ,Montgomeryshire,  James and Mary....this is the baptism you think may be your Elizabeth....

Elizabeth Mills christening - 5th May 1837 in Mochdre ,Montgomeryshire ..John and Mary   is another possible

pretty certain it is one of the 2 ....which is nearer to Mainston ?  Mochdre or Llanidloes

Thank-you for the info re George M Taylor & father John Richard .I live in New Zealand & find it very hard to get info from the UK. Can you help me find out if George is a brother to an Elizabeth Taylor who married a Charles Fisher Evans? And if both were children of John Richard & Eleanor Taylor nee Palmer.
If so, is there any back history ,other siblings ,etc.
I'd be most grateful for any help,thank-you
