Which marriage date is correct?

While searching on Family Search for the marriage of my 3x gr grandfather James Lowther in Cumberland I came accross two very differing marriage dates - to the same woman.
19 May 1804 and 11 Aug 1816 both to Mary Rigg in Crosthwaite.
As one of the children was born in Aug 1804 I think the first one is likely to be correct.
BUT where did Family Search get the second date from? I suspect it could be the baptism date of their son also James.

I must have read it wrong, althought there is a Family Tree an A----try wich also gives the 1816 date as a date of marriage.
