Hi

I have now obtained the death certificate of Gladys JOHNSON 1916-1928.
She died on February 10th 1928 at the Royal Infirmary Sunderland. The cause of death is given as "shock from extensive burns to body....."It says an inquest was held on the day of her death.
Do you know if it would be possible to obtain an inquest report anywhere.

Many thanks

Sue

I looked in the Northern Echo this morning (on microfilm at Darlington Local Studies Library) but there was no mention of Gladys, sorry.  The Echo did report some other Sunderland deaths/inquests that week but obviously not all of them.
