Census Look Up - John Wilson Steele

Hi,

I am trying to find a chap  on the census. The only one I have been able to find him on is 1871 as a 53 year old lodger in St Giles, Yorkshire. He was listed as a drugists assistant, born wales.

I have his death in 1880 so that would be his last census. Hopefully someone can find him previously.
He was John Wilson Steele - christened 1817 in Llandeilo Fawr, Wales. To Richard and Elizabeth Steele who may have been married in Yorkshire.

A really exciting chap but not the one i'm after unfortunately. That John Wilson Steele was a surgeon, a lot younger than my one and born in Ireland. But thanks for searching.

It doesn't say born Wales but there is a John W Steele assistant druggist in 1851 same area * Yorkshire St Giles.  Age 30 visitor.  Birthplace given as Shrinfott? Yorkshire.

As the name and occupation match plus he is in the same area good chance that is he.

*might even be the same address no.2 Bootham?

That looks like it will be him even with the age and bp out a little. Thank you! Too bad he's a visitor and doesn't give clues to the rest of his family.

Can't see him in 1861.  He's not married.

Just trying to find that same address in 1861 and looks like same head of household John Eden Milson or Wilson with a cousin and a servant no assistant druggists this time
