Yes Trudy looks very likely.

I can only see one child for Gertrude and Arthur - Greta bc 1903.

Can't easily see her as Gertrude Ward in 1901 ...

Hi again, in 1891 Arthur S Ward aged 26 occ  Student of Theology b Beaufort, Jamaica is a visitor to the Moravian Settlement, Ockbrook, Shardlow, Derbyshire.

Hi again is "Greta" the Gertrude Mary Ward b Sept qtr 1902  Malmesbury 5a 65, if so what becomes of her and her parents, I can see a death of possibly her mother in March qtr 1954 Edmonton 5e 458 aged 88?

Hi Keyboard, we don't know yet what happened to her but I suspect you are right on who she is. However, since there is a possibility (ever so slight I agree) that she is still living we should not post any details about here until we have confirmed her death.

I have just caught up with this thread.  ;) Keyboard, I'm glad you managed to find Gertrude in 1901.

As it looks like 'Greta' didn't marry and have children (shame), where should we look next? I expect that may explain how this photo ended up at the fair - no one to pass it onto.  :(
Gertrude did have a lot of siblings - I'm sure we would be able to trace a descendant of one of them.
