A request for help on behalf of NICHOLAS RHOADES` great,great,great,great grandson.

Not sure just where to start with this one but here are the details I have been given.

NICHOLAS RHOADES b. circa 1715 somewhere in England[[maybe somewhere in Britain] but died circa 1780 in Montgomery County, Maryland USA.
 Wife Jane.
  Children probably born in England, JOHN b. 1756 died in USA 1838,  ELISHA b.1756 died USA c.1838 and NICHOLAS b.1761 +possibly other children.

Emmigrated to USA c. 1767

NICHOLAS [junior] Married FRANCES TAYLOR ELIZABETH??
Children  3 daughters and 2 sons  JOHN W and WALTER b. 1793 .
DEATH 24 Jan 1826 Ohio USA.

Any ideas to help with this research please.
