Yes, thanks Willsy, I have seen these. I have also seen the plaque on the wall at Wakerley church to Rev Sam and his wife. Rev Sam Hunt eloped to Gretna Green with Sarah Wingfield (1757-1843), daughter of Rev John Wingfield (1734-1773). The certificate used to hang in the vestry of Tickencote church according to an old guidebook, but it's no longer there. I have quite a bit of information on Sam now but I should like to find out more about their eleven children, especially sons Thomas Edward, Charles and William - do I need to start a new thread?
Thanks for the information on Penelope.
