There won't be a birth cert as it is before Civil registration began in 1837.

To look for a christening you will need to search parish records for knaresborough.
Someone else might know if there is a CD available to buy, or may have access to the records.
Parish registers will probably be at the Record Office to view.
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

Not sure why this is on the Derbyshire Board?
Edward was born Yorkshire.

1841 Edward is with his Mother Ann, Unm, Apprentice Upholsterer born c 1826
1851 married to Sarah A.

The Marriage Cert will have his Fathers name Occp.

Trish :)

EDIT West Yorkshire Marriage has his Father as JOHN Saunders, Innkeeper
Married 22 Oct 1844, St Peter, Leeds
(Sarahs Father was MATTHEW Barker)
