I am looking for a marriage to a Dr William Taylor - his name taken from her Death Certificate Victoria.

As you have the dc, that I found the ref no. for, ....  are you saying that it does not have information about her marriage?  .... What information does that 1950 dc have?

I can't see a marriage in Victoria from 1901 to 1942.

Just had a idea 

One of the family notices state a child by the name Jean. Can a birth index for a Jean Taylor with parents William and Alice be found. We know that William and Alice were married before 1923 so a birth before then might help narrow dates down more, tho i think they must have married overseas.

This person could well be alive, and so we need to be aware of the RChat policy not to identify living persons.
