in 1920   a maud taylor nee evans a widow married a danial  mcarthur in lambert a widower,
he was 55 years old she was 37,
she was from birmingham originally as was her first husband earnest tayor also known as bill. it is believed he did while they were living in lambert.
any help at all on these people please.

Added - looks like the marriage was 1917 , Daniel McArthur / Maud Taylor(or Evans) , Larbert , Stirling.

There is an Ernest(age 29) & Maud(age 31) Taylor in Larbert Stirling on the 1911 Census.
Just looking at the index.

on the wedding certificate maud and earnest taylor he was born 1886,

Possibly not the same man , although it is the only E*rnest Taylor death in Larbert at that time.
(apart from a child in 1910)
Only one Maud Taylor in Larbert in 1911

You need to go to www.scotlandsapeople.gov.uk, invest in a few credits at modest cost, and download the death certificate of the one who died in Larbert in 1913. This will settle the discussion, because it will tell you the maiden name of his wife and the full names of his parents including his mother's maiden name. When the information can be so readily obtained, there's no point in speculation.
