Where were they evacuated to, was it where the family were from or where the sisters lived?

it is an old acc that a few of my family were using but I don't have access to it now.

All the data on it is pretty correct in terms of the family but again nothing about Sidney.

There was a Sidney I found in 1903 born in Wandsworth but I having nothing that proves he is my Sidney.

Sidneys son Ronald (deceased) was born in Pancras and his son was born in Hammersmith.
Ron said he thought his father was from Battersea area whilst the other son(also deceased) said he thought he was from Wandsworth.

We believe the pub that Sidney ran was in the East end but again family details passing down are not the most reliable Im starting to find.

It certainly could be.

Ive just found Catherine Skeates with Sidney Skeates and their son Ronald D Skeates on the London, England, Electoral Registers, 1832-1965.  the document is page 214 I think and is in South Eaton Place?

that is amazing thankyou/
I have just added to my ancestry tree and it has now found those records.

I'm going to have a look at the son you mentioned as all three sons are now deceased.

Also I'm going to have a look at the addresses too so thankyou!

Looking at the 1957 record it looks like he had a middle name as is showing as Sidney J Skeates.
