It is a shame they do not give any address or fathers occupation on the baptism, is there an address on the birth certificate?

It looks as though she keeps her skills as a launderess in later life.

Hi Jennifer, the father's name isn't on Florence Maud's birth certificate as I said but the address where she was born is 13 North Road Wimbledon. Haven't been able to unearth anything about that address but wondered if it was a single mother's  hostel or something.

Charlotte jnr. husband becomes a laundry engineer by 1891 census. Perhaps they put carpenter against both father's?

Have you seen this baptism, could be a possible for your Isabella

15 Aug. 1857 St Pancras Camden, born 23 July 1857

Jane ARABELLA Birkinshaw. Parents: James Henry and Sarah Ann, father a labourer, of Emm?? St.

Found a tree that shows she has a brother Henry John Birkinshaw who marries 1864 to a Charlotte Tully, they have a daughter born 13 July 1872 called FLORENCE MAUD BIRKINSHAW.
