Death records ?

Hello I have a bit of a conundrum I have heard of a cousin of my grandfathers who lived in Jersey but probably was not born there as most of the family are from the St mary/paul Cray area of Kent and London later anyway we have a wife name as well but think he was born about 1920 is but that's it I can not say the name as he could be in his 90s but unsure so I am wondering where to look for possible death record funeral notice etc to then buy death cert or marriage cert to find out who his parents were.
