Where do I report a bug?

I've found an anomaly while doing searches and want to report it.

You can either post the details here or use the 'contact support' button on the upper right corner of the Home page.

Excellent.

When I do a search, the site behaves as expected, delivering a page of results.

After clicking on a result, if I click the Back button, it gives me a "page has expired" error page.  If I refresh that page, I get the results back.

Not insurmountable, but somewhat of an annoyance.

That's been happening to me as well. Before, you would be taken back to the search list. Maybe it's another bug  :-\

Until we can find the bug, try this:

hold down Ctrl-key (firefox) or shift-key (IE, opera) and then click on the link.
The new page opens in a new tab or window, so the search results are still there for later.

This tip applies to all links on any internet page, not just the RootsChat search results.

Thanks, Bob. I usually do that by accident (in Firefox) and, for a few seconds, wonder if I've lost the other open tabs. Then I find another window open  ;D ;D ;D

Thanks Bob, I've also taken to right clicking on the links and selecting open in new tab.

I've fixed it now I think :) If you'd like to check it for yourself and let me know if it works.
