Can anyone identify where this is please?
« on: Friday 29 March 13 18:06 GMT (UK) »
This has come from a friend who is requesting help with the location.
Quote :"I have a strange request and attach an old photo dating back to about 1968 when I visited Ireland.  I can't remember the story about the Stone, except that you had to hop around it three times without stopping.  We visited a lot of places in the south including Blarney Castle, which I thought it was, but on reading up on the Blarney Stone found it definitely wasn't that!  I'm not sure where to begin searching and googling hasn't thrown up anything sensible".
I'm hoping that someone will recognise the stone/place. ???

It looks like a bullaun stone or font stone, very ancient and they are found all over Ireland.
