I have inadvertantly got 2 family trees in Ancestry. My main one, and another which is labelled as a duplicate. It happened when I was downloading the Ancestry app to my Ipad. I am not very techno. informed so do not quite know how I got to have 2 trees downloaded, but having found I had, labelled one of them as duplicate. (main computer and IPad in synch. so both appear on both of them) I have been reluctant to delete the duplicate in case it deletes both of them, and so have not bothered, but since then have only done further work and updates on the original tree.
What has now happened is that I have been asked by a family member to give permission for them to be able to link into my tree. I have done so but now realise it is in the duplicate one they linked into and so of course it is not the most up to date.
Can I safely delete one of the trees?
