Surname on a gravestone

Had another look it could be Jane Winifred and the surname is below?

Yes I've gone off the D's Dawn, trouble is I'm now seeing Wenrew 

THe last letter or letters don't have the same angle as the W I don't think. They look more straight up and down to me ... possibly Ls.

Hi all and thanks!

The inkling I had was that the gravestone belonged to my 3xGreat Grandmother, Jane MAVIN. I had noticed it looked more like a 'W' than a 'M' though.

Now I'm not at all sure who this person is then. No Weddells or any variations in the family. And no Jane Winifred's either!

The next time I go up, I'll have to flatten down the grass in front to see if there's anymore writing and then maybe rub over with paper and a pencil.

Just had a quick look at a spreadsheet with burials for this parish on.

Jane Weddell: Buried 9th August 1910.

This date is 21 years before my 2xGreat Grandmother was buried in the adjacent plot, so it looks like my family were her in turf!
