Signature comparison- COMPLETED
« on: Thursday 04 April 13 21:23 BST (UK) »
I have 2 marriage records. The second one gives the groom as 'widower'.  I have found an earlier marriage that I think is his. These are the 2 signatures with a twelve year difference between the first (the lower one) and the second.  I think they are the same. The 'J' is similar and the 'ohn' looks identical in 'John'.  The surname I think is virtually the same apart from the 't's (the ink looks faded on the first).  I'm looking for reassurance that you agree.

They look the same to me. The slant of the writing is very similar. The biggest differences are the J on John and the final t on Standfast. Still, 12 years is a long time. My own signature has changed a lot over the years.  :)
